NWAHC receives United Way Venture Grant!
We are grateful to United Way of Washington County for their gift of $2,700 to support our Community Awareness Campaign!

Exactly what is a Continuum of Care?

It is a comprehensive community plan to organize and deliver housing and human services to individuals who are homeless as they move through the rehabilitation process. The final goal is to prevent a return to homelessness and to help create the greatest achievable level of self-sufficiency for our consumers.

What are the benefits of joining the NWAHC?

The greatest advantage to any constituency of those in need of services is power. The coalition gives voice to a community's needs — a loud, unified, compelling voice. The larger and more fully representative the coalition is, the more effective it can be as it works for change.

How can I participate in the Coalition?

The NWAHC meets the first Tuesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at the City of Springdale Municipal Building on Spring Street. (If the first Tuesday falls on or near a holiday, the meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of the month.) Click here for specific dates.

Students: $15
Individuals: $25
Agencies: $50
Supporting Member: $100
